A. Introduction

WooCommerce Availability Notifications enables your WooCommerce-powered website to have customize stock availability notification for in stock, low stock, out of stock, and back order. This will help your customers with an intuitive information for each product's stock availability.


B. Installation

Note: Please make sure you have WooCommerce plugin installed and activated before using WooCommerce Availability Notifications plugin to work.

Option 1: FTP

  1. Upload the file folder named "woocommerce-availability-notifications" via FTP where your WordPress website is at "/wp-content/plugins" folder.
  2. Go to your WordPress administration page and locate "Plugins" and activate the plugin named "WooCommerce Availability Notifications".
  3. After successfully activating the plugin, see usage.

Option 2: Administration Page

  1. Go to your WordPress administration page and locate "Plugins > Add New" at the left sidebar panel and click on "Upload" link.
  2. Upload the zip file named "woocommerce-availability-notifications.zip".
  3. Go to your WordPress administration page and locate "Plugins" and activate the plugin named "WooCommerce Availability Notifications".
  4. After successfully uploading the zip file, click on "Activate this plugin".
  5. After activating the plugin, see usage.

C. Usage

Note:

  • To enable "Low stock" availability notification, please set "Stock Display Format" field to select Only show stock when low e.g. "Only 2 left in stock" vs. "In Stock". That's why it isn't changing because its ticked to "Always show stock e.g. "12 in stock" option.
    "Stock Display Format" field is found at "WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory".
  • If setting your product to "Out of stock" availability notification manually be selecting in the "Stock status" field in every product, please make sure "Manage stock?" field is unchecked or disabled.

General Settings

  1. Go to your WordPress administration page and locate "WooCommerce > Settings" at the left sidebar panel and click on "Products" tab link and after that click on the "Inventory" subtab link.
  2. You will find "Availability Notifications" section and customize each notification setting for in stock, low stock, out of stock, and back order.

Single "Simple" Product Settings

  1. Under "Edit Product" page and locate "Inventory" tab link.
  2. You will find the settings to customize each notification setting for in stock, low stock, out of stock, and back order.

Single "Variation" Product Settings

  1. Under "Edit Product" page and locate "Variations" tab link.
  2. You will find each variation product's settings to customize each notification setting for in stock, low stock, out of stock, and back order.
