WooCommerce Multi Currency

Support Purchase

Do you want to display price as multi currencies on your shop page? Do you want your site to autodetect customer’s country and display price as their native currency? Do you want to accept payment in customer’s native currency? Woo Multi Currency will help you with all these things.

System Requires

• Plugin WooCommerce is installed and activated already.
• Make sure that those limits to a minimum as follows in order for free-trouble while installing:
  max_execution_time 60
  memory_limit 256M
  post_max_size 64M
  upload_max_filesize 64M

Download Plugin

• Get your woocommerce-multi-currency.zip file via quick download link in purchase confirmation email or download directly from VillaTheme.com (purchase email and order ID required)

Install & Active plugin

• Dashboard/ Plugins/Add New/Upload Plugin/ Choose file/ Select  woocommerce-multi-currency.zip file/ Click “Install Now“/ After successful install Click “Active plugin“.

Go to Dashboard/Multi Currency to configure your plugin WooCommerce Multi Currency Settings.

1. General

Enable: Enable/Disable the plugin.

Fixed Price: Turn on this option, the price will display the custom price entered by you. This option will overwrite the price which calculated by the plugin WooCommerce. To enter fixed price you need to go to product edit page.

Currency  options:

Default: The default currency which will be displayed to customers if there is no native currency is detected.

Currency: A list of currencies which you want to display on your site.

Position: Select how the price display on front-end. There are 4 options to choose: Left $99, Right 99$, Left with space $ 99, Right with  space 99 $.

Rate: The exchange rates between a currency and the default currency. You can type in your custom exchange rate here.

Number of Decimals: Configure how many numbers will be displayed after the comma (or dot).

Custom symbol: Sometimes you need a custom symbol for some currencies.

Example: Canada dollar and US dollar have a same symbol $.

By entering the custom symbol of US dollar as  #PRICE#USD, on front-end, the price will be displayed as 100USD. Same with other currencies.

Action:

• Update Rate: Get current exchange rate of the currency in the line
• Remove: Remove one currency from the list.
• Update All Rate: Update the exchange rate of all currencies.
• Add Currency: Add one more currency.

Save: Save all your configuration.

2. Location

Auto Detect: There are 3 options

• No: Turn off the auto detect function. The site will always display the default currency before customers select another one.
• Auto select currency: The plugin will auto-detect customer country and display their native currency.
• Approximate Price: The plugin will display the price in the default currency and an approximate price in customer’s native price.

Currency by country: This option only works if Auto select currency option is selected. Select the countries which you want to display with each currency.

Use Select All to select all countries in the world or Remove All to remove all selected countries.

3. Checkout

Pay with Multi Currency: Enable this option to accept payment from all currencies General settings or Disable this so only default currency is available in check out page.

4. Design

The plugin can display on front-end as 2 type Sidebar and Widget.

Sidebar Settings:

• Enable: Enable or Disable sidebar.
• Title: The sidebar title
• Position: Sidebar position, there are 2 positions left and right.
• Text color, Main color, Background color: design the sidebar as you want.

Widget:

• Flag Custom: add some code to link some currency with some flag.

 

5. Update

• Purchased code: Enter your Envato Purchase code or Order ID to auto update plugin whenever there is a new version.
• Auto Update Exchange Rate: Choose a time threshold for auto-update exchange rate.

Woo Multi Currency is a plugin designed for WooCommerce that helps customers switch between currencies easily.  It also helps stores accept payment in not only one but all currencies. There is a free version and a pro version of Woo Multi Currency.

Important Notice:

• The plugin works based on WooCommerce plugin.
• The free version is published on WordPress.org, feel free to use it to build themes.

FREE VERSION:

• Unlimited currencies: The plugin allows adding unlimited currencies including Bitcoin…
•  Allow multi currency payment: The plugin allows customers to pay with different currencies. However, these currencies must be supported by the payment methods. Example: There are currencies: EUR, USD, CAD and RUB. If you select payment method is Paypal, then the system just support payment by EUR, USD, CAD except for RUB. Because Paypal does not support payment by Ruble.
• Yahoo Finance API: Using Yahoo Finance API to get exchange rate automatic for currencies.
• Approximately price (Detect country): Enable Approximately Price on your shop page and the plugin will auto-detect customer’s country and show the approximate price in their currency.
• Auto update exchange rates: Auto update exchange rates at the real-time from Yahoo Finance. It works based on WordPress Cron Job tool when customers visit your site. You can set interval. eg: 6 hours, 1 day….
• Recalculate coupon value: Recalculate coupon value base on rate of order currency with main currency. Example: coupon AAA value=10, main currency=USD, order currency=EUR, rate: 1 USD = 0.8 EUR, so when “Allow multi currency payment” enabled, client apply coupon code AAA, discount value is 10*0.8=8 EUR.
• Widget ready: Widgets are available in the plugin.(Switcher + Calculator)
